Freedom of Speech in Philadelphia

Tenure protected a professor from being fired for his belief that the Holocaust did not happen. He also blamed Israel for nearly everything wrong with the world.

Kaukab Siddique, an English professor at the historically black college Lincoln University, also attacked organizers of a competition to draw pictures of Muhammad.

It’s interesting that had he stayed in his native Pakistan he would have virtually no freedom of speech. For details, see http://bit.ly/1El5kjs

Freedom of Speech in Seattle

Members of #BlackLivesMatter took over the stage as presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders was addressing a huge crowd in Seattle. Sanders, who actively participated in the 1960s Civil Rights Movement, was prevented from continuing his speech.

I think the two “allies” deserve one another in an example of leftist ideology run amok. To see the video, go to http://nbcnews.to/1MhBZg8

No Freedom of Speech in Texas

A conservative student leader at Texas Christian University was suspended this month for tweets condemning the Baltimore rioters and Islamists.

“These hoodrat criminals in Baltimore need to be shipped off and exiled to the sahara desert,” he wrote. “Maybe then they’ll realize how much we provide for them (welfare, college tuition, Obama phone’s, medicare, etc.”

The university said the tweet and five others like it violated the student code of conduct.  For details, see http://fxn.ws/1IWfnmo
